IM Conversation With My Mom

Me: I'm in class.

Mom: Ohh, I'll let you go.

Me: Ehh, I didn't even buy the book for this class. I'm not concerned.

Mom: Oops. What class?

Me: Alternative Dispute Resolution.

Mom: Sounds like a Christmas at our house. And boring.

Me: Sounds like you know everything you need to know about law school.

Yeah, that's pretty much dead on. Me and my brother use a form of alternative dispute resolution. It usually involves one of us wrestling the other one to the ground and seeing if the word "uncle" can be coerced out of the struggling sibling.

I just like that my mom didn't even scold me for not buying the book.
