The New Classics
Seen at The Neutral Zone Trap - The "new classics" from the last 25 years. According to Entertainment Weekly, and who I am to argue with Entertainment Weekly. Plus it kinda goes along with the fact that I just turned 25.
Movies I've seen in bold. Commentary when applicable.
1. Pulp Fiction (1994)
2. The Lord of the Rings trilogy (2001-03) - I refuse to watch movies about hobbits. And shouldn't this be 3 separate entries?

36. Spider-Man 2 (2004) - I have an intense irrational hatred for Kristen Dunst most likely related to her bad teeth and ridiculous clothing and can only stand movies where she dies, someone is trying to kill her, or she plays a cheerleader and I love it because it's a guilty pleasure (See: Virgin Suicides, Drop Dead Gorgeous, and Bring It On).
37. Pretty Woman (1990)

52. The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad (1988)
53. The Truman Show (1998)

When I read the list I figured I'd watched 75% of them. Turns out I haven't seen 25, 27 if you count the LOTR Trilogy as 3 separate movies. There are a few movies that I just cannot believe are not on here, when movies like Far From Heaven made the list (seriously?). Such as: The Big Lebowski, Blow, Donnie Darko, Forrest Gump, Kill Bill Vol. I and II, Magnolia, Mulholland Drive, Requiem for a Dream, Traffic, Trainspotting.

Blair Witch? Really?!?!? That thing was SUCH a piece o' crap.
I haven't seen nearly as many of these as you have. Guess I better join netflix. ;)
I heard that in many USA Law schools teachers recommended to watch certain movies about lawyers, for example The Firm. Is it true?
Hello my dear. CEMENT MIXERS! Ahh you need to watch Bond. I'll bet you develop a bit of a thing for young Sean Connery. You're right though Lebowski needs to be on here...these people are amateurs. Irina baby that's not all true honey. I am half Russian and thought the same when came to USA but I soon learned there are no movies in law school...USA number one! I highly recommend the movie Team America. My dear Aunt is still in motherland and if there are two things she loves, it is Stoli and Team America!!@!!
Yes blog owner approval. I have weirdo lurkers who make nasty comments. It's the curse of my life. You should take me out for drinks soon, if you're still into that sort of thing.
Howie awesome i understand that there are no movies in law school, but maybe teachers recommend to whatch some movies or read books.
No, I don't do that anymore. At least not until the 18 months are up. Irina sweetie, I apologize, I misunderstood your question. Seriously though, you need to watch Team America. And the new Batman. Watch that too. Also, Awesome is capitalized.
Howie Awesome, but I'd like to watch something about lawyers. For example, I like to read books or novels about lawyers and written by lawyers, because sometimes I can find there very interesting professional advices or solutions of problems. So probably the new Batman isn't a suitable movie (in addition I don't like Batman). And as I know Team America is a comedy. Nevertheless I'll try to watch these movies at leisure.
YOU DON'T LIKE BATMAN?!? Who doesn't like Batman?!? Batman is WAY more fun than lawyers and law school! With the exception of Miss Woods here, she's more fun than Batman.
Aww, that is one of the nicest things you've ever said to me Howard.
