Common Sensical

Professor: We now have wireless in the classroom. You aren't allowed to use it to IM, check e-mail or search the internet. So you have access to it, but don't use it.

I think as long as you're not downloading porn in class, you should be safe.

Back when I was in Law School, people were playing Hearts and Solitary on their laptops during lecture. It seems Law School lectures really haven't improved much. Do they still drop a letter grade if you miss three classes? Do they still count you as absent if you come unprepared for class?

Some profs say they drop you, but I've tested that theory and have yet to find one that does. Generally being unprepared doesn't effect participation unless it's habitual.
